Michael Rodriguez

A graduate of the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, trumpeter Michael Rodriguez went on to earn his BA from the New School University in New York City. Rodriguez’s prestigious résumé includes performances with Jessica Simpson, Harry Connick Jr., Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, among others. Rodriguez is currently a faculty member at the New York University Jazz Department as professor of trumpet and travels the globe as a clinician.
