Born in Cuba, Luis Eric Gonzalez started playing trumpet at the age of seven. Gonzalez has performed and recorded not only with Cuba’s top bands, but also for operas, ballets and documentary films. He served as musical director for salsa legend Celia Cruz and toured, recorded and performed with artists, including Don Henley, Gloria Estefan, Raul Malo, Little Louie Vega, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, Eric Benét, Carl Thomas, Son by Four, Juan Gabriel, Armando Manzanero, Joan Sebastian, Jill Scott, Angélique Kidjo and Andy Garcia.
