The Empowerment Project: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things is the journey of five female filmmakers driving across America to encourage, empower and inspire the next generation of strong women to go after their career ambitions.
The documentary spotlights eight positive and powerful women leaders across a variety of lifestyles and industries—from an astronaut to a Member of Congress, to a mathematician and a beauty queen working to help impoverished African children—each interviewee offering a unique perspective on the role of women in the workforce. The filmmakers relay the candid insight on how these women define their success and what it takes to be a woman in their position.
This is a film created for women by women. Their challenge to the audience is to ask themselves, “What would you do if you weren't afraid to fail?”
