Brad Bennett
Brad is a Japanese American filmmaker and EMMY®-nominated producer based in Virginia. His first feature documentary, Forgive - Don't Forget, won the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 2017 Guam International Film Festival. Bennett has been featured in The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe and the International Documentary Association. His work has been supported by PBS, Southern Documentary Fund, Virginia Film Office and the UCLA Documentary Film Legal Clinic.
Paul D. Ufema
Paul D. Ufema first experienced video journalism while serving in the US Army. Later, Paul began his professional career with a local ABC affiliate before going on to work with the Discovery Channel. He founded the successful YouTube channel All New Bricks, which specializes in Lego builds and aids St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Paul currently resides in Virginia with his wife and three kids.
Jonah Guelzo
Jonah Guelzo is a Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel-Nominated Sound Editor, having worked on many large and small budget motion pictures, documentaries and commercial projects. From his Golden Reel nomination for his sound editing work on Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut, Lost River, to his contributions on major motion pictures like Furious 7, Divergent, Winter’s Tale and the series pilot for The Leftovers, working under the direction of award-winning supervising sound editors the likes of Lon Bender, Wylie Stateman, Peter Brown and more. In addition to higher profile projects, he’s also been involved in various Independent film productions like The Trade as well as additionally fulfilling the role of co-creator/co-producer for the WW2 documentary Forgive - Don’t Forget.
Jonah holds a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in Broadcast Communications and attended Video Symphony in Burbank, CA, for Pro Tools audio engineering.
Austin Journey
Based in Central Virginia, Austin Journey started working as a video producer and editor in 2011. He would go on to direct shows for the stage and is currently the editor of Shaking Hands Productions, working on corporate projects. In addition to serving as co-director, writer and editor of Forgive - Don’t Forget, he is also the producer and co-writer for the documentary short Unmarked on PBS.
