On April 7th, in commemoration of World Health Day, Scientology Network presents the Drug-Free World Marathon to raise awareness on the undeniable link between drug usage and its dire consequences to human health.
World Health Day is the global observance of health as a human right. With nearly one million drug overdose deaths since 2000 in the US alone, drug usage has been stated as one of the leading factors of the decline in life expectancy in the US.
The Foundation for a Drug-Free World educates people on the true dangers of drugs so they can make informed decisions and live drug-free. Partnering with schools, community organizations and government institutions, the campaign has empowered people in 180 countries with information on the reality of drug abuse.
