Now that Scientology Churches are open again, Scientologists around the world, and around Kansas City, are safely flocking back into their local Churches to study books and lectures by L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology Life Improvement Courses, receive Scientology counseling (known as auditing) and more.
Kansas Citians are so jazzed about returning, they’re showing their love of their Church by documenting their excitement on video and sharing it with the world on Scientology Network’s popular video series Scientologists @home.
Created at the start of the pandemic as a worldwide platform for Scientologists to connect and share how they’re staying safe and making the most of their time at home during the lockdown, Scientologists @home gradually added stories of people getting back to work, and now going back to Church.
And the Church of Scientology Kansas City is getting a lot of worldwide exposure these days, with floods of videos being sent in. Located in the Crossroads Arts District, the Church serves not only the entire Scientology community in Kansas City, but also serves as a home for the whole community, assisting in myriad ways to uplift people of all denominations.
For Kansan Scientologists like Terri Marx, the ability to walk back into her Church and continue on with services has come not a minute too soon:
“I can’t tell you how happy I am to be here and to have the Church open so I can go in and do my services and see all my friends. My course helps to handle suppression. It changed my life … and made me a lot happier.”
Videos from across the globe—from Dublin to Tokyo—show Scientologists’ excitement in embarking on a new course of study in their Churches.
Since launching on Scientology Network and the Daily Connect website, the Scientologists @home series has exploded in popularity, with people from over 400 cities and 50 countries around the world, ages 5 to 90, submitting their videos.
The upbeat and optimistic tone to each video is punctuated with Scientologists sharing how they’ve been studying and applying LRH Technology from a number of books and free courses, at home or at work, to improve their lives.
